Nigeria’s most flamboyant football supporters brand Super Eagles Supporters Club have set aside today Saturday 20th of December to host a classy year end in grand style with arrangements put in place for a boat cruise celebration.

The club whose members are scheduled to jet out of the country tomorrow morning (Sunday) for fez in Morocco for the CAF Africa Cup of Nations has put together a boat cruise end of the year get together for members to wind and unwind and bid farewell to year 2025 in grand style.

According to the club’s founder and president Prince Vincent Okumagba, he says it is important for the club to come together when it is the tail end of the year to look back at the  activities and events  the club involved in, give thanks, pray for continuous Divine protections and favour on the club and look ahead for greater achievements.

“Coming together like this at this time of the year I think is important for the club, to look back at our activities and and also looking ahead to a greater achievements for the club”.

“We have a boat cruise later today to celebrate ourselves for contributing positively to the growth and development of Nigeria football via our support for  various national teams from the start of the year and as well make it a send forth for our members who are traveling to Morocco tomorrow for AFCON tournament”.

Part of the arrangement for the boat cruise is to celebrate the birthday of the founder and President of the club Prince  Vincent Okumagba who have been the great pillar behind the club over the years and a rock solid for the unified supporters group since the harmonization of the groups by the leadership of both the NSC and NFF.

Super Eagles Supporters Club Inaugurates Anambra State Chapter of the Club

The biggest and leading football supporters club in Nigeria the Super Eagles Supporters Club founded and led by Prince Vincent Okumagba yesterday  inaugurated the state chapter of the club held at Onitsha Sports Club in Onitsha, Anambra State.

The event had in attendance creme de la creme in sports administration in Anambra State, stakeholders and football fans.

Fielding questions from journalists after the presentation of staff of office to state chairman Mr Kingsley Udoh and his executive board, the national president of the club Prince Vincent Okumagba says his last visit to the state is about eight years ago and it feels so good to be here once again while admonishing the newly inaugurated state chapter on transparency and equity in order to attract more members into their fold.

“The last time I came here was eight years ago, its been very long and I feel elated especially seeing the calibre of people that are here today. I feel so blessed, I feel so happy we have this kind of people here that are happy with our brand Super Eagles Supporters Club”.

“I am very happy to be here and I am going to come back here again soon. Of course we can’t do what we are doing without the government. We were in Morocco just recently the government funded that trip, I believe that once you put yourself together properly and linking us with at the national level we’ll be able to do a lot for supporters club and Super Eagles Supporters Club”.

“They should lead well that’s all I can ask them, they should lead well and supporters is about membership, they should be able to attract more members into their fold, making sure that they’re transparent enough because once you’re not transparent you won’t find anybody around, they should make sure they’re transparent enough to be able to attract more followers”.

“A lot of football lovers are in this state I have seen them before and all of a sudden the tempo went down but I think that we can pick them up again to ensure that we have more people in the club”.

Prince Vincent Okumagba who doubles as Vice President African Football Supporters concludes by asking the leadership of the state chapter to be open minded in their dealings and carry members along always.

NSC Celebrates Supporters Club IMC Chairman Prince Vincent Okumagba on his Birthday Anniversary

The National Sports Commission (NSC) has extended warm felicitations to the Interim Management Committee (IMC) Chairman of the Nigeria Football Supporters’ Club, Prince Vincent Okumagba, on the occasion of his birthday anniversary, describing him as a dedicated patriot and remarkable supporter of Nigerian sports.

Prince Okumagba has been instrumental in strengthening supporters’ coordination, national representation, and fans’ engagement both at home and on international stages. His passion, discipline, and commitment have contributed immensely to unifying Nigerian fans across different platforms, reinforcing national pride through sports.

Director General, Hon. Bukola Olopade, praised Prince Okumagba for his leadership style and dedication, noting that his birthday comes at a symbolic sporting moment for the nation.

“Prince Vincent Okumagba is a man who has consistently demonstrated responsibility, patriotism, and leadership in the sports community. As his birthday coincides with Nigeria’s playoff final, we are hopeful that we will not only celebrate him, but also celebrate a remarkable victory for the country at the end of the day,” Olopade said.

Prince Okumagba  Demands Intercontinental Playoffs Ticket as Birthday Gift from Super Eagles

Number one football supporter in Nigeria and  Chairman Interim Management Committee, Nigeria Football and other Sports Supporters Group Prince Vincent Okumagba  has demanded from the Super Eagles the FIFA Intercontinental  Ticket as a birthday gift to him.

His birthday coincide with the final game of the FIFA world cup playoff African Zone holding later today between Nigeria and Congo DR in Rabat the Moroccan capital.

The IMC Chairman says this year’s occasion comes with a special feeling and request because they’re are in the middle of world cup playoff in Morocco and looking ahead to tonight’s final between the Super Eagles and Congo DR and at the same time its his birthday therefore, the most special gift he ever wanted from the team on his birthday is the intercontinental playoff ticket to make this year’s birthday commemoration a memorable event.

“I want my birthday to be a double celebration tonight, one,  we are in the middle of the playoff and and looking forward to a favourable result when our darling team (Super Eagles ) face off with their Congolese counterpart tonight “.

“The best gift Super Eagles can give me for my birthday is nothing but the ticket to the Intercontinental playoff next year in Mexico and I challenge them to go all out there, make us proud and get the ticket”.

Meanwhile, Prince Okumagba says he and his members will put on hold all activities put in place to mark his birthday, go to stadium to support the team then, return to their hotel for double celebration after the Super Eagles might have won the  CAF playoff and secured their place in Mexico for the intercontinental playoff.

Prince Vincent Okumagba who founded the Super Eagles Supporters Club and also doubles as Vice President African Football Association visited the camp of the team to make his request and  assure them of their support when they tackle Congo DR.

CAF WORLD CUP PLAYOFF: Okumagba Congratulates Super Eagles for their Victory over Gabon

Chairman, Interim  Management Committee Nigeria Football and other Sports Supporters Club NFSSG and Founder/President Super Eagles Supporters Club SESC Prince Vincent Okumagba has sent his congratulatory messages to the team and officials of Nigeria’s male national team the Super Eagles for their victory over the Panthers of Gabon in the CAF world cup playoff in Rabat, Morocco.

According to the IMC Chairman, the game brought out the best of the Super Eagles throughout the entirerity of the encounter and they did show the zeal and resilience that make them the team to beat every time. He says the boys performance tonight is a reminisce of what their performance used to be some years ago and he was at no time under undue pressure knowing full well that the team is capable of beating Gabon which they did.

“Let me congratulate the team and officials for a wonderful performance tonight, the victory was deserving and it shows that we’re on course for another appearance in the FIFA world cup. I am very happy tonight and you could see the joy in me and every other supporters here in the stadium are happy as well”.

“Our boys gave their all, stepup their game and churn out impressive performance. The game really brought out the best in them and they were full of confidence and energy throughout the 120 minutes of the encounter”.

Okumagba who doubles as Vice President African Football Association concludes that he and his members are looking forward to the final against Congo DR and very confident the Super Eagles will triumph on Sunday.

Nigeria will face Congo DR in the final of the CAF world cup playoff on Sunday in Rabat, Morocco and the winner of that game will take a berth at the FIFA intercontinental playoff in Mexico next year to fight for one of the two available tickets to fill up the remaining two slots for the FIFA world cup.

2026 FIFA WC PLAYOFFS: Alawode Tasks Super Eagles To Go for Victory Against Gabon

Band Leader and Coordinator, Super Eagles Supporters Club, SESC Mr Sunday Alawode Ademola has call on Nigeria’s senior men national team the Super Eagles to go victory against the Gabonese national team the Panthers when they tackle each other in next week’s world cup playoffs in Morocco.

Alawode made this call when fielding questions from journalists a couple of minutes ago at an event in Ikorodu suburb of Lagos. He said the Super Eagles journey to the FIFA world cup in America next year is just starting and the game against Panthers of Gabon is their first game therefore, they have to go for victory and nothing but victory.

“I believe our world cup journey is just starting while the game against Gabon is our first game, so, Super Eagles winning the game is non negotiable. Every Nigerians expect nothing but victory from the team considering the plethora of stars in their rank”.

“My level of confidence is high and I have never for a bit express fear about the ability of our boys. I’d advise the coach to go for the best legs to prosecute the playoffs and with good preparations and commitment Nigeria will surely emerge winners”.

Alawode concludes by calling on avid football loving Nigerians from administrators, stakeholders, fans both at home and diaspora to support the team as they are ready to shoot Nigeria to the grandest stage of football the FIFA world cup next year in the USA, Canada and Mexico.

Nigeria and Gabon will slug it out in the first semi final of the playoffs next week while Cameroon and Congo DR will face off in the second semi final to determine the two teams to play in the final on Sunday 16 of this month in Rabbat, Morocco.

CAF WC PLAYOFFS: Supporters Club Promises   Maximum Supports for Super Eagles Against Gabon Next Week in Morocco

Super Eagles Supporters Club has promise to provide maximum support for the national soccer team of Nigeria the Super Eagles against the Panthers of Gabon when both sides confront each other in the first semi-final of the CAF world cup playoffs in Rabbat, Morocco next week.

The club is working assiduously to finalise its preparations before jetting out of the country to Morocco next week. Members who are scheduled to be on the plane are fully ready to make sure the Super Eagles defeat their Gabon counterpart as well as either DRC Congo or Cameroon in the final of the playoffs.

According to the club band leader and coordinator Mr Sunday Alawode Ademola who emphasize that all logistics has been put in place and are ready to storm the city of Rabbat in Morocco to make their presence in the stands when Nigeria faces Gabon.

” We are fully ready and have all logistics put in place for the national assignment in Morocco next week. The band is aware of the task ahead therefore, no stone will be left unturned in our bid to make sure the Super Eagles emerge champions on November 16″.

“It is a familiar terrain for us as a club and we will make sure nothing hinders our performance and moreso, our women’s team the Super Falcons were there a couple of months back where they won the WAFCON title for a record 10 times, so with this it will be a mission accomplished”.

Nigeria will lockhorns with Gabon next week Thursday 13th in the first semi final fixtures of the CAF world cup playoffs in Rabbat, Morocco while Cameroon and DRC Congo will face off in the second semi final on same day. The winners of the two games will face each other on Sunday 16 to determine who represents Africa at the intercontinental playoffs in Mexico in March next year. Only two teams will qualify to fill the remaining slots in the 48 nation’s format for the FIFA world cup next year.
